Sikta BDO Meera Sharma spotted a pick-up van being mounted with DJ sound boxes by villagers of Arya Nagar, 2km from Balthar PS.
Van driver Anirudh Yadav (35) was taken to police station on Saturday.
Yadav was rushed from the PS to a PHC for treatment of alleged wasp bites. “He had some bee-stings on his neck, face and legs. The patient was alright...,” Dr Akhtar, who treated the victim, said.
